What this site is
HourTotal is a collection of calculators for the arithmetic that hourly work produces every week: adding up clock entries, deducting breaks, splitting overtime, converting minutes to decimals and reading a 24-hour clock. Each tool does one job, works on a phone, and does not ask you to sign up.
How it works
Every calculator runs entirely inside your browser. The numbers you type are kept in the page address so you can bookmark or share a filled-in time card, and they never travel to a server. You can add the site to your phone's home screen and it keeps working without a connection.
Accuracy
The math follows the federal Fair Labor Standards Act by default, with optional daily and California overtime rules. The rules are described on each page and on the overtime rules by state reference. State law changes, and exemptions exist, so treat every result as a calculation aid rather than legal or tax advice. If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it.
Who runs it
HourTotal is built and maintained by Raptune Limited, a software company that builds tools for structured thinking and everyday work. The calculators are developed in-house, and the labor-law facts on each page are checked against the primary sources listed under "Sources" at the bottom of that page. The site is ad-supported and is not affiliated with any payroll provider, employer or government agency.
